Gaara from NARUTOGaara would've come right after I did Kankuro's piece, but no..NO!! He refused to be drawn.
His eyes (eye) are so difficult to capture.Β Β
I rewatched gaara vs rock lee this summer and I appreciate it so much more.
If only the entire anime was in that quality!

I love the scene with Rock Lee and Gaara. He's also one of my favorite Naruto characters. He started off as someone creepy but then when you hear his childhood story it kinda makes you look at him differently and Naruto definetely helped shaped him to grow into a better person.

YES that is an amazing fight. The second time where they fight alongside each other is great as well (I love that whole Sound 5 arcΒ Β Β Β Β )
Gaara actually wasn't one of my favorite characters when I was young, but I still remember drawing him a few times because his design isΒ Β
But looking back, I think he is just a cool character all around.

Yeah, I used to not like Gaara when I was little because he used to scare me lol (especially with his justu sand burial) but seeing him change as well as having a great character devolopment made me change my mind.Β
I have to say my favorite part in the Lee vs Gaara scene was when Lee jumped on top of the statue and dropped the leg weights.Β

This is absolutely fantastic! I've been eyeing your work for a while now and while I love it all this one really
stands out to me and something you have put a lot of time and effort in to. From the small details like the
cracks in the gourd to the individual grains of sand falling/floating around. I admire the way you colour everything
but hair stands out as something I would love to master myself. It seems so simple and yet I'm sure there are many
small details I can't see with the naked eye that go in to something that complex. Wonderful work!
