I bet all the little mages in the Circle thought Anders was so badass.I just went back and played Origin's Witch Hunt DLC, and Finn's story about Anders put me in fits. He said he hadn't heard anything from him since his last escape and ohgodhereallydoesn'twantto. I like to imagine they met up later in life.

I was disappointed with what they did to Anders in DA2

I was a little too, but I understand where they're coming from. He's gone through a lot of traumatic, life changing events since we first met him. He's a Grey Warden now, with tainted blood and all of the bad things that go along with it, and he's also allowed a corrupted fade spirit inside of him that can control him if he lets it. We can still see bits of his old humor from the banter in the earlier Acts, so old Anders is still in there somewhere. It just sucks what happened to him.Β
Now, whether this is just me convincing myself that Bioware didn't screw us over on him is another story.Β

it was a bit of poor writing in the end of the game, and i think a lot of people will agree. It's almost as if it got really sloppy, but a lot of people blame one particular woman who was with Bioware for that due to her negative attitude and her contribution to Mass Effect 3 as well. With the approach of Inquisition though, it looks like it may (PLEASE DEAR GOD PLEASE) be as good as older bioware titles.Β
