Description
I sit here,writing and pondering
how things could have gotten this far,
and horrible.
The sun was shining so brightly a long time ago,
it was a time of peace and happiness back then.
We were young and our lives were far less complicated,
no rules,no stress.
Now here you lie in silent slumber,
what you are dreaming of I wish I knew.
Others will always be interferring in our lives,
whether they be children, workers, or family.
But all I know for sure is that I will not ever change my love for you.
We can fight, we can squabble, but together we shall remain for life,
afterall we did take that faithful vow, it must mean something.
For better or worse, together you both shall live.
Tragedy may come and go,
but not my love for you.
I may get emotional about the worse things,
however we have gotten through it all.
This is no different my sleeping knight,
angels will always protect you.
For you see without you,
life seems empty.
Reflections on family and life,
that is what I do now.
Please awaken soon to greet me,
and to greet your own kin.

Auwww that was a beatiful poem Nicole! a great way to express yourself ^^ it's written really nice and I think you did really great at the poem!! I know love comes with fights, as I seen my parents, but no matter how big the fight ,they always found each other again. So I somehow do not doub your love for him ^^ and he must really love you dearly as well. Fantastic work on the poem! I'm sure of it he will love the poem very much as well.

the flower thrived in the garden of light and sound
awakened, gently tugging on fragile roots
hour of reckoning
the sun ceases to shine; this is a private moment.

well that is true it is me...and thank you I haven't written poetry since grade schil and haven't attempted since so I hoped that it would have some meaning to it
