I drew this while the remnants of hurricane...Issac? passed over, which is probably why it looks better than usual--I am terrified of storms, especially high-wind storms and had to give my full attention to the drawing to distract myself. And Butch H.'s shading confuses me, so halfway through coloring it I threw a bit of a hissy fit and started shading however I felt like. It was fun, actually. I really like how it came out, although I don't think my laptop's touch pad is as thrilled. (Is it possible to wear those things down?)

Anyway, I imagine Phantom's confused (and maybe scared) by his crush on Danny. The huge complication of their relation to each other aside, Danny's the son of two ghost hunters, his friend, a fellow guy, and a weak human just to name a few. Pursuing a relationship could put them both in danger, and then there's not even a guarantee Danny would be open to it, considering how he's drooling over Paulina and wants to be normal.

But Phantom's helpless to deny his attraction and decides to act on it. You know how that goes--just this once, just a taste, and I can let...whatever this thing is go. (Fenton's unbuttoned shirt was probably his undoing ) Of course Danny might kiss him back (I think it's human instinct from when we were nursed) particularly if he's in REM sleep, and of course just a taste is never just a taste, and of course Phantom will find it harder to forget once he's had said taste, and--I should probably let you guys imagine your own story behind the picture, huh?
