Description
As promised from the Week 41 Journal, this character 'Curtois the Starving Dog' appeared in the literature I read daily as of now, "Reynard the Fox".

Of course my style of choice is a stark different then the book's illustration... and very different from my friend JCS's interpretation in his series "Reynard the Dead Fox".

I admit, even from the story's protagonist Reynard and so many other characters... my attention drew to this particular dog who is always (appear?) starving. He seems to have minor role with little background about him (i.e. his motives, his affiliations to others, and most importantly what breed he is) and yet I always look for him and become rather fond of him.

I haven't done a simple sketch in a good while, a pencil-only at that. I just want to draw him out of adoration, I based his physical appearance on the canine breed "Great Pyrenees", he is relatively thin and wears the vest with odd markings ◆◆◆◆◆◆
Though his personality I am not entirely sure..... I wish I knew (._ . 💧 ) I haven't got through with the book yet, but hopefully I get to know him in due time.
The book is so interesting (^w ^ ).
If any... I thank my friend for introducing me him and Reynard ('u ' 🌸) he will be colored later on...
