Description Managed to finish this just in time! For the Feline ArtXchange over at #FantasyFelines !

This is for ~Kurairo of her character Tetsu!

I'm still a little out of practice since I haven't properly sat down to draw for a long time now, but I had fun experimenting on this :3

Teach me your secret of doing decent backgrounds? I just cant seem to get a background just the way I want it, and I even look at some of your pictures for help, but no matter what I cant get anything right.

I am going to try going on Livestream more after my last exam is out of the way, which should let you see how I make my backgrounds...
For this one, I wanted to keep it simple... I basically added patches of colour mixed together for the sky, adding the pinker colours gradually....for the ground I started with a solid colour then added darker patches for texture and a few highlights on the distant hills....

I guess that's the simplest explanation I can do...honestly there's no secret or trick to it, half the time I'm experimenting with totally random brushes and colours to see what comes out! xD

I hope your last exam goes well, I got out of school two weeks ago, so I have lots of free time in my claws.
I will be sure to watch you livestream, I could learn a trick or two from you.
