By the way, how did you get in that early? It would have been quite a hike because doesn't the road in only open at about 7.00am or so? I imagine coming in via Henry's head in the dark would have been neigh impossible, but the track from Congwong may have been easier.

We walked in from the main road and it took about 40 minutes in the dark.

I can understand that, even with a full moon it would be a dark road to hike, and then getting down and across in the dark to the shoot location would not have beeen easy.

It has some interesting history as well, you would have seen the main gun emplacements obviously, but if you looked around carefully on the actually Cape - over the bridge - you would seeem remnants of the searchlight positions and associated generator huts, and the traces of where barbed wire had been laid.

I have sleep apnoea so sunrise is the middle of the night for Me but maybe I'll go & stay on the coast & TRY to wake up THAT early

Superb tones mate, the the detail is marvellous. I REALLY like the way you've composed this, how the lines of the clouds seem to lead the eye to the point of the rocky outcrop. Top notch work mate!
