MPi-KMS-72. Right side view.East German produced variation of the Russian AKM. Stamped metal receiver, plastic pistol grip and gas tube cover, bakelite lower handguard, folding "wire" stock.
Caliber: 7.62x39. Length: Overall/Folded: 895mm/690mm. Barrel Length: 415mm. Weight: w/empty magazine - 3540g. This rifle was manufactured in 1980.
The folding stock equiped version was issued to airborne (Fallshirmjager), armor, and mechanized infantry (Mot.Schutzen) units.

I simply adore this, I found one like It only It was a romanian type - 51, $429 dollars without the metal bananna clip. Semi auto I believe, I thnik an AK Is useles If It's semi automatic.
