You've seen these two crazy supernatural goofballs, now imagine these two in action! It's a fact that both actors, Micheal Keaton (Beetlejuice) and Warwick Davis (Leprechaun) loved these two characters and said they were their favorite roles. Another interesting fact is that Beetlejuice was suppose to be a horror movie and Leprechaun was suppose to be a kids movie like Gremlins. Also I colored BJ's shirt purple just for fun and to match the cartoon version. Leprechaun would win. Easy.
Beetlejuice is all fine and dandy when it comes to harmless pranks and grossing people out, he'd be great at a party and he could maybe be better than the leprechaun at intimidation, especially with that trick where all the horrible worm things came out of his face (we only saw him from behind his head, so it's left to your imagination), but he's ultimately not very powerful, his death count is 0, he can't do ANYTHING unless he gets some sucker to say his frigging name 3 times (while at other times, he needs them to NOT say his name 3 times, so apparently it's EASY to stop him, all you have to do is say it 3 times again and he's defeated), and when he needs someone to say his name, can't even tell them his name so they know what to say, and he pretty much gets owned by every supernatural being he encounters, right down to the stupid headhunter in the afterlife waiting room!
The leprechaun however is totally lethal in every way. He has magic optimized for killing, that's what he does, that's his thing. He'd frigging find a way to kill Beetlejuice even though he's already dead. I don't need to spend so many words going into detail, but everyone he meets who gets in his way ends up eviscerated, burned alive, his heart ripped from his chest, sliced in half if not into ribbons, exploded into little chunks of meat, or turned inside out.

Yes, I noticed that. And I wasn't even doing it to be contrarian, I didn't even read any other comments until after I wrote it. I find I often think about things in different ways than other people. For instance I also thought that Hitler flagrantly won the epic rap battle with Darth Vader, and then in teens react to and elders react to, was quite surprised to see how unilaterally they were on the opposite side, they all thought Vader won, even though he had to resort to violence to end the debate. Go figure. I think they were just afraid to side with Hitler, write it off as a cultural taboo maybe, but me, I didn't see it as a popularity contest, it was a question of who won at being more evil, and boy did Hitler win in that department when he invited Vader to try out his shower.
