More and more, this looks like something I could actually try...

Man. I've been tooling for almost 10 years and you're still teaching me new things about it, hahaha. Awesome tips!

I'm still teaching myself things every time I make something. XD

I like to assimilate knowledge from all over into my work. I always found dolls strange in that a lot of toolers wouldn't try something new because "dolling doesn't work like that". It seemed dolling gave itself these techniques and step by step ideas and that's how it had to be for a while.

I'm so glad people have improved and diversified and done all kinds of styalised stuff and we don't all use moe and make rococo and lotr dresses anymore XD Pretty as they were.

I've always found it very interesting to see how other people work and this is no exeption. The doll itself looks great too.

Thanks

I love reading tutorials just for, as you say, getting to see how other people work.

These are fantastic. Really interesting to see how you work and the little tips in there are great, for new and old toolers alike.

Yes the tutorial, like all tutorials really, is based more in "How Pyro's brain works" and so I'm trying not to miss out anything I do in recording it, even little tweaks or things such as changing the colour. I'm not going to just skip stuff and pretend I didn't hate the Red colour just to make an 'easier' tutorial.

After all it's more a documentation of this particular doll. If I did another one on another doll the process would be similar but different.

That's one of my favorite parts of tutorials in general - seeing how others see things. It's really interesting and almost always gives me something to try or think about next time.

I often like seeing one little thing someone does that makes me go "why didn't I thinkof that"

Like I'd been using layer blend modes for a while then I saw a painting tutorial where someone used a gradient on a blend layer and I was like "holy cow that's genius" XD
