Ok, this is whats going on...I was thinkin at work one day (go figure) And thought about private eyes in the old movies. I always remember them being really cool and slick when a really hot lady asks for there help. You know, they'd say something like "Why should I help you, toots?"
Well, this is what I'd do if I was a P.I. back then.
Not slick at all.
I'm probably never going to finish coloring this one, but who knows?

I love this so much more than can be said! I just love your art style ^^ And all the little details (the way the tie flares out, the pencils falling over, the picture in the upper left hand corner...) work so well together to make this premium funny

Well the film noire atmosphere is such a serious, moody backdrop to shatter like this.
Hammet writing "Sam Spade gets an erection." would have been a little before his time though.
Again, gold.

this should stay B&W imo, The only P.I Movies I remember are 1940's type stuff and besides, Black and white drawings just look badass

Perhaps I'm the only nerd who saw that there, but still. /grin
Besides, pulp heroes like Chandler's were -always- putting up with beautiful dames. Usually tripple crossing ones who eventually either shot at them, or got them shot. People these days just don't have that level of dames, so can't build up the peoper immunity.
ANYhow. I love the monochrome coloring- very evocative of the B&W films you are making fun of/homaging. Great work!
