Well, I finally finished it. 2 Days pretty much solid work, and a wrecked drawing hand, but it was totally worth it!

But anyways, this is basically an idea I had while having one of my fanfic brainstorms, and thinking about the more epic ideas, such as huge mass battles and suchlike. I'm not sure how I'd integrat this image into a fic, but the basic idea is that the entirety of Equestria has come out and united as one army under one banner against some great threat; a classic theme of high-fantasy.
I also wanted to try my hand at drawing badassery as opposed to just awesomeness or dramatic vistas. So, this is the most characters I've had in one drawing, and I personally love how their individual expressions came out.

Also, give yourself a pat on the back if you can recognise every defined character in the pic.
