Description Just a bunch of ideas for alternative history scenarios put together.
Some Dark Age kingdoms like the Vandals in Africa and the Cumans, Pre-Norman nations like Anglia and the Celtic Kingdom of Alba survived
The Duchy of Bavaria, the first Catholic German state that wasn't under the Frankish Empire never disbanded and continued to Grow
The Frankish empire balkanized just like East Francia did
The Crusader States are still active and have established themselves as the rulers of the Baltic and the Levant
The Cossacks after years of struggle against the Poles, Russians, Turks and Mongols finally got their own nation.
Since the Mongol hordes never got conquered by the Cossack campaigns under the Russian Empire in Sibir they sill pillage the Russian nations up North
The Ottomans did reach the Adriatic coast but with a strong Holy Roman Empire also having their interests in the Balkans, their conquest was slowed down.

Poland's eastern border looked a lot like the Curzon Line, but why?

I based it around it.
There are no specific reasons why, i just like it more than the historically accurate borders of Masovia for that time period

And by the way, Lithuania's southern border didn't exist until 1940. Other than that, it looks fine.

Very interesting!
A question: why Venetian Republic losts (or never gain):
- his Lombardy territories (Brescia, Bergamo and Crema) to Milan Duchy
- and his "overseas territories" (Istria, Dalmatia, Creta and other Island)?

Very thanks!

Mainly because they never manage to expand all over the Mediterranean since the Crusades were a success.
Historically the Crusaders helped Enrico Dandolo conquer Zara/Jadera/Zadar, which was a big concurrent at that time and that launched them to the power we know today.
So they never gained it
And about Lombardy, that's plain out a mistake
I really thought about just naming Venice "The Republic of Saint Marco" or "The Duchy of Venice-Lombardy" (as it was known under Austrian rule), but later I came to the idea that an HRE backed Milan could win the numerous wars fought between Milan and Venice over Lombardy.
(I forgot to add Northern Italy to the HRE - the Black-Red Border)

I also came up with the year 1780 once I finished the map if you look at Iberia and France it looks more like the 15-16th century, while you got the Cossacks from the 17th century and Sibir still isn't conquered.
This really should be around 1500, and the Cossack Hetmanate should be named Kievan Rus for simplicity

Catalonia would be called Aragon. Catalonia is a term used very recently only.

Catalonia is the Frankish name for the County of Barcelona

So, will they still use Baroque technology like what they do in real life?
