Description Third commission that I've done for

The story behind this pic is that her LS of 5 years broke due to it's leader retiring from the game. They formed a new ls with most of the same people, but, you know, it's still not the same.

.... I liked the thought of putting the pearl in the fountain at the back of her room... so that's what I did.


anyway, I hope you like it!!!!!

Yeah, that was a really weird angle to draw.. the onlything actually wrong with it is there is a little area under her chin that should have the white of her sleeve drawn... other than that it's about right... (try putting your arm in that position... it's resting on the edge of the fountain ^^)

Ya I dont even try those angles most of the time b/c even if I draw them accurately they always look off to me. XD

As always, briliant! Love the detail in the clothing, hair, and the facial expression.

Personaly, I've never been in a LS that's survived longer than a year (most only last a few months)

Yeah, I've lost a lot of friends in game too... one of my first LSs broke up and I had gotten pretty close to the guys in that shell... after they left I actually found it pretty hard to get along in other shells...

same here... I find it kinda hard to be social these days... in the game =3 which makes it hard to play cause i don't have quest/adventure parties anymore =/

Yeah, same here... I don't usually get on long enough to be social... thus I don't get to know anyone, thus I don't feel like being social... etc etc... it's a vicious cycle

Really sad, yet beautiful
The story behind it makes it more charming to see this lovely picture.

*Kinda spoiler to those who haven't played FFVI*
Sort of reminds me of the scene when Cloud put Aeris in the water or when the materia falls to the bottom after Sephiroth killed her.

Sorry if it's lame if I referere this scene with FFVII, but it really got stuck in my head right away when I saw this.

Great job on the water and her"Blessed/Noble" (can't remember the name) outfit I like her expression (and ears ^^), we can feel her sorrow pretty well.
Her big lips is bothering me a little though... But it's just that I don't like big lips in general.
I like your sense of details : the addition of the crack in the linkpearl is a good idea

This is really beautiful! I love the Noble's and especially the mithra's hair. Even though this was meant for someone else, I can connect to this drawing a lot. Maeko is being retired after 5 years of adventuring...and with the Noble's, this does look a lot like her.

Yeah, it definitely reminded me of the first social ls that I was a part of... a bunch of my really close friends left or got kicked from the shell, due to some drama that was happening... so I ended up leaving too because I didn't feel welcome anymore. I felt really torn up about it for quite a while, but then I made my own linkshell and it picked up pretty fast :3 It's been around for 3 years now,
