I have the same problem like you in arabesque... my upper body wont go up more. For how long have you been dancing?

Actually, I only took classes when I was in preschool...I've done ice skating, gymnastics and colorguard though, so I've gotten in a bit more experiance...Next year I'm going to take dance classes at school, though. I love dancing, but I'm always too busy with other things to get back into it much.
