I am sorry... my mental abilities at the time that I commented were not very... dazzling. XD
I still think it's epic. Something can be epic without being liked, you know? I mean, there are many details, and the pattern is intricate. It took a great deal of your time. Regardless of the results, I think it has earned the title.
Suggestions? Hmm... maybe a different color scheme? It seems a little harsh, or overdone. I am not sure how to explain it. Or perhaps it is just that I do not like that color of orange... it reminds me of my school colors. u_____u

I understand your epic point. "Epic", referring to something like this picture, depends on the taste and the point of view, I think. You believe the details and intricating stuff makes it epic, and I believe that the pop-art-like colours kill anything epic.
You are right with the colours then. "Overdone" describes it. I dislike the green, because blue and orange go very well together, aswell as green and red, but I did too much of both. Let's see what I can do the next time. I have no plan yet, but I would like to go back to old systems, like elements or weather or religions, those things that can be caught with one symbol, like in "heaven and hell". [link]

Bahaha, so you like the complimentary colors stuff? I hate it! XD Well, at least the way they are used in like sports teams. Neon, bright, clashing colors. It's like they smack you in the face. u___u But there are times when I think they work... like a buttery yellow with violet, or peach with powder blue.
Ooo elements and stuff like that would work well, since they have color schemes. It'd be easier to get harmony with the colors then. And I like the religions idea too, just because I'd like to see what you could come up with.
Ah, but on the topic of religion, have you ever seen this sort of bumpersticker? It's one of the few I actually like: [link]

Mandalas are usually round. They have a center and symmetric ornamentals around it. I believe they come from Tibet or that asian region...there they are made with sand and destroyed afterwards. It is a way of meditation. It relaxes me when I do things like that.
