i love the bird its so delicate and the pose is awesome.
but the person is kind of boring.
lizzo you are so creative why do you keep saying you're not? who else does a picture of their sister in a bush made of peacock?

The person was added as an afterthought, haha. XD (Was actually supposed to be a woman in a Victorian style dress but I ran out of time).

The bushes are watching you.

Haha, thanks!

Yeah, I took a few art classes at my high school and I have a private teacher who corrects my lack of color..intuition? But I love black and white.

It all started with Pokemon. (Just kidding)

Crazy and wild colors are the best. I like orange and red; they're really fun to work with. Green is my favourite color, but I can't seem to get everything I want out of it...

A knack, eh? No, I used to suck at drawing (draw anime all the time in middle school, haha). But my grandmother and mother have always encouraged me to draw, and that motivated me to keep practicing.

I lack creativity and inspiration though; I looked at your gallery! Your drawings are "quirky", 'n Ceasal & Finnis seem pretty awesome. -goes to stalk-

water color and inck are my favorit meadiums.
i have always had a knack for art thogh. both my mom and dad are artists. i have tryed to develop my own stlye over the past 8 years.

if you lack crativity where do you get your ideas from?
srry for all the spelling errors lol

Woot! I love watercolor, ink, oil...they're all so fun to work with.

I think style is what makes you stand out from everyone else; I'm currently working on the technical stuff, I guess; my human figures are really weak, and I need to paint more people in a variety of poses...but otherwise I don't think I really have much of a style. D: When I draw for fun (haha, but drawing/painting is fun anyways, most of the time), I usually slip into manga/anime style because I'm so used to it, but since there are so many people who do that already I'm also trying to do some cartoon-y stuff as well...only there are a lot of people who draw like THAT too. Gaaah XD. Sorry. I tend to ramble.

I get my ideas from....uh.... Hmm. Let me think. -eyeshift-

I heavily rely on reference photos and my sister as models? Iunno...the pressure of having a deadline to meet is pretty inspirational, haha. I love painting portraits, especially portraits of my sister.

Wow, your parents are both artists?! That's so cool...mine work with computers, haha. Talent must run in your family.

Yeah...school projects and stuff. Last year I took the AP Studio Art: Drawing course and we had a 24 piece portfolio due in May.

Did you ever have a teacher for art, or did your parents teach you (or did you teach yourself)?

well i taught my self mostly. to be honest one of my art teachers hated evry thing i drew and tolfd me it was too dark or too violent. if you look at my gallry youll notice a drawing called " squish" she refused to let me do it because it was too violent.
my other art teacher was more open and really enjoyed the things i drew but he never taut me anything. happily i can say that i taguht myself evrything i know, even thoght i dont know much lol.
i have wanted to take classes to make my sstuff more reall looking but i havent got the chance.

Teachers who do crush other people's ideas like that disgust me.

You're so independent! Hopefully you'll have to time to do that; online tutorials and self-teaching can only help you so much. Some things are better learned with an experienced artist in a nurturing environment.

Good luck.
