Took this in Apollo Bay yesterday. The weather was quite stunning and it really began to whip up the water. While those waves look small I can assure you they were not. They began breaking well over the rocks in the harbor drenching the poor fishermen! You can see one of the 'smaller' ones hitting it in the middle.I believe this is comprised of about 11 or 12 images stitched together (lost count because I'm extremely professional XD). I consider it a waterscape since the ocean takes up almost the entire middleground and that was my intention when capturing it. I really wanted to show of the beauty of the bay. It's where I grew up and I still find new places and great photo opportunities every time I return here.
A long time ago you could only access this town via a steam powered ferry so it was quite isolated. Nowadays it has become a tourist town thanks to the construction of the Great Ocean Road back in 1919-1932.
