I mean, Rani was cool and all, but this would've been a fantastic way to end the show.
It'd also serve as some excellent character development for Simba - convincing him to forgive the creatures who had a hand in his father's death would be a tall order for him.

Me to, if you pay attention to some things Rani says, youβll find out that all she really cares about is Kionβs roar and is manipulated him for it, whereas with Jasiri, sheβs amazed by Kionβs roar, but she cares about him as a person and not his special abilities. So screw Rani and Janja and all hail JasirixKion!

Iβm even currently writing a fanfic based off that fan theory. Kion figures out Rani only cares about his roar, Kion breaks up with her and returns home, he and Jasiri eventually get together and deal with Janja, who is not happy about that.

Totally. Jasiri is totally 100% better than Rani, whoβs only reason for existing is for Kion to have a same species relationship and if you pay attention to some things Rani says, you discover that all Rani really cares about is Kionβs roar and manipulated him for it.

Well, there is more hints for KionxJasiri, because come on, how can anyone deny that look she gave him after Kion said βWeβll, not all lions are alike.βΒ while for JanjaxJasiri, only Janja has shown some romantic hints for Jasiri while Jasiri hasnβt really shown any romantic hints for him. Itβs realistically possible that Jasiri doesnβt feel the same way towards Janja.

Yeah, that was my favorite scene in the entire LG series and it gave me a very warm feeling, but than it was ruined by Rani and Janja, screw both of them. The way Kion looked Jasiri during this scene after she and her clan left, I think Kion also has some hidden feelings for Jasiri as well.
