Evraen against the ghostly light a full moon. He's about to swoop into darkness and strike in one of his great heists!...Or perhaps land in a clothe's line in an ally and get tangled up.

(Powhattan is the chief engineer aboard the Albatross. Superb archer, he uses arrows with a hollow point... filled with liquid explosives)

The Albatross has a very unusual mix of crew members, from the rotund and scholarly (though not less dangerous) Porfessor Archimedes Articus (penguin), to Powhattan, Mitt and Shenandoah (raccoon) , a former barmaid, rescued by our reckless trio from the worst bar in town (you can imagine how the building ended!), to their friends and partners Monique St. Croix, Norbert Noctula (owl); Nullarbor (platypus Shaman), Bordeaux (Beaver) and Arari (olingo) PLUS a new crew member in development.
Upon the stealing of the ship (it was that or being slaughtered) they discover Albatross is really unusual... beginning with the quad 20mm in a rear turret, cloth and structure bullet-proof... and a martini.making gizmo at the main cabin (for prof. Articus delight!)...

What if they land on Dunwich? Miskatonic University, the Prof and Lovecraft weem to go with each other. In fact, there is a character that messes with Lovecraftian horroe with chronometric regularity: Titus Crowe... the Prof could be our TC...

Kalifur: the lost kingdom in Middle East, discovered by Monique and the site of a fabulous trasure... and something else: According to design, the ancient soircerers of Kalifur had very good connections with the ancient Druids, receiving from them the magical technology for fearsome weapons and devices (according to lore, DruidsΒ had a weapon able to generate such amount of heat that rocks were vitrified; ancient scrolls mention that a Celtic king lost a hand in battle and was taked to a Druid: this man produced for them what seemed a gauntlet (forearm coverage plus a functional hand fingers and all... and they mention the king returned to battle, grasping his sword WITH BOTH HANDS!)
There's the race to get the jars with the scrolls first: Monique eventually discovers the cave wuth opart of the treasure AND the scrolls; the bad news? Kemal bey, a rising crime lord and sworn enemy of our professor,Β follows her and ambush her, almost killing Monique in the process. He leaves her to die in the cave, taking with him the jars and as much treasure as he and his men can carry.
Only the choice of the Albatross men to use that cave for battle training saves her, makes Mitt confess he loves Monique... and triggers a frantic race to recover the jars: Bey must yet to translate the scrolls, though, but the fact that the two men that almost tore Monique in half (she finished with a broken arm and her jaw splintered) used these uniform (img.culturacolectiva.com/conte⦠) reveals Bey's real scope and how worst the menace can be...
