I love english riding ... if i ride western too much i get into bad habitsa like slouching i dont even realize i am doing it lol

Yeah! I agree! It's easy to slouch in a western saddle. English is better for developing good posture, a good firm seat and a good sense of balance.

I see pics of me in a western saddle then in an english saddle and im like shit .. and somehow my reiins are loose in western saddles and tight in english i mean wtf!

I'd love to able to go out hacking on my own but ahaha... unfortuantly my lads scared of well.. EVERYTHING. Looks liek a beautiful place to go for long gallops! he looks like great fun to ride!

Yes. It is definitely fun! He is fun to ride, but he does shy at some things. But he's slowly getting used to riding out there alone.

Yup, I've been using that Tresemme curl-stuff for about the past year, and it works pretty well. Although I have a feeling nothing'll curb the afro it occasionally develops!

Thanks! Yeah, my stable is all english. We have western saddles sitting all dusty-like somewheres. I like western, I learned western first. I've ridden a fair amount of western, but I think english is much more challenging as far as balance and such.

Ah, I see. Yeah, you're right; English is definitely better for balance practice. I haven't ridden English all my life so it was a very new feeling, and Tucker wasn't quite sure if he had a saddle on or not.
