This is a christmas gift for my best friend

After I tried hundrets of moon tutorials, I tried to draw this damn moon by myself and failed I think the stars are kind of to ordinary 
needed time: 5 hours

this is very good iv been wanting to do a simmilar thing with my OC Areena but i couldnt figure out how to color her to make her appear like this but still have her colors.
that is a very good moon much better than what i could have done.

Mabye I can help you ^^ I first colored everything in the color of the dragon, than colored the inner part darker and smudged it, so that it looks clean, and the edged I colored with the same color the moon has. This time i didn't smudge. But in this case the coloring was easy because the visible parts of the dragon are all in the same color

Yes, the dragon is light blue ^^ but because of the moon in the background and the big contrast I made it darker than it actually is
