Description
It was the weekend and Emily decided to play in the backyard. Her backyard didn't exactly have a fence, she lived by the woods so to her it was her playground. She knew every inch of the woods, from top to bottom. When she went out to the woods she would always pack that went around her waist. Her bag would be filled with little thing like, rocks, flowers, and on occasions she would find old pennies. As she headed into the woods she could sense she was being followed. She heard footsteps coming her way so she climbed the nearest tree and perched herself on the branch and waited.
To her surprise it was those 2 kids from school, they must have seen her go into the woods and followed her. One of them was carrying a piece of sharp glass while the smaller kid held a slingshot that was loaded with rocks but her concealed in their pockets. "Shes in here somewhere.." said the second kid. "Jason, Don't you think this is dangerous?" said the third kid. "It's fine Thomas, when we find her were going to force her to tell us why she did it." Jason replied turning back to Thomas. Emily jump from the branch she was standing on and landed on her feet "Did what?" She asked.
The two boys turned quickly around to see Emily right behind them. Jason took out the piece of glass from his pocket while Thomas pulled out his slingshot. "So you decide to show yourself after what you did to Mike?!" Yelled Jason as he pointed the glass at Emily. Emily, who was more confused then terrified, She cocked her head to the side. "All I did was twist his wrist." She said certain that she didn't do anything else besides that. "Liar! This morning Mike was found dead!" Jason yelled again and stepped closer getting read to slice her.
"Dead?" Emily question making sure she heard right. "Yeah! His sides were cut open!" Thomas added. Emily couldn't help but feel sorry for them. "I'm truly sorry that he is dead but it wasn't me. But I have some good news." Emily said with a little joy. "What kind of good news..?" Jason replied slowly lowering his weapon. "You won't be bossed around by him anymore." Emily smiled brightly under her hood. "You freak!" Jason charged at her with the piece of sharp glass while Thomas aimed his slingshot at Emily's head to get a shot into the holes in her hood where she could see. Jason grabbed the top of her hoodie and yanked it off. "Since you don't like to see your face then you won't need eyes.." Jason whispered into Emily's ear.
Jason took the piece of glass into Emily's white eye. "Ahhhh!" Emily cried as the blood dripped from it. "Jason, thats going too far!" Thomas said as he lowered his slingshot. "Shoot at her other eye!" Jason yelled back. "You're even crazier than her!" He became terrified if they were caught. "I'll do it then!" Jason snatched the slingshot and aimed at Emily's other eye. Emily was in so much pain she couldn't fight back. She stared down at the ground and at the blood stained the dirt. Jason place the glass in the slingshot and fired it. "Ahhhh!" Emily's cry sounded more painful than the first. Jason an Thomas ran from the scene leaving Emily there.
Emily layed on the ground in a fetal position as she cried a mixture of blood and tears. Soon from losing so much blood she lost consciousness. The next moment she could hear faint footsteps coming toward her. Something carried her bridal style back to her house. When her mom found her she was sitting on the backdoor steps. She about almost cried when she looked at Emily's face and carried her inside and cleaned her up before calling the doctor.
