Personality:
✠ Lukas manifests a great deal of self-discipline and level-headedness. It's not often that he would show emotions outside his usual civil, irritated and/or melancholic states. Due to his upbringing (or rather, lack thereof), he can be rather... out of place, so he needs people to tell him what's appropriate or otherwise in some situations. Biggest nerd you'll probably meet; he's rather verbose or technical in his manner of speech, making it hard for some people to follow him, but he tries to pace himself, especially for his students. That doesn't mean he intends to be boring; when it comes to teaching, he tries to vary his methods from the usual lecture-on-the-chalkboard scenario.

Strengths:
✠ Hard-working, determined and focused.

✠ Can be very frank, which may be good or bad, depending on the person.

Weaknesses:
✠ When engrossed in things that are especially of his interest, Lukas may not notice other people (who unfortunately take him for a snob).

History: Born to a Japanese mother and a German father; both of his parent's families have long been involved in military servitude, leading to a rather limited lifestyle. His parents divorced when he was 8, and he lived with his mother (adopted her last name, too) and eventually moved to Japan to live and study. Her mother struggled as a single parent, thus he was often left alone to his own devices. Lukas developed introversion because of this, paired with the fact that most of the people in his age group didn't get along with him due to his being a half. Eventually, he got a dog named Olivier, who was his only constant companion, to ease his loneliness. Science also proved to be the perfect hobby turned passion for him, as it provided him the most distraction.

When he graduated high school, Lukas went to Germany for the first time in a long time to visit his father, but he couldn’t do it alone so he brought his dog with him; little did he know that his father had a dog phobia. Olivier died from a gunshot to the head.

Suffice is to say that Lukas' relationship with his father went from strained to destructive.

Things didn't end very well.
