avian monsterss yesssss~this was fun to draw and design whee.
I've never detailed feathers before fpfppt I HOPE THEY DON'T LOOK TO CRUDDY LOL.
Despite their size, Skraws are swift and skillful fliers, adept at swooping down and snagging foxes, young deer, and other creatures with their teeth. They are most active during dusk and early mornings. They fly high above to scan the entire area and effectively pinpoint prey. Skraws are noted for being tenacious and fiercely territorial, causing lots of problems for travelers. They are easily recognized by their eyes and their loud, shrill shrieking. With their mannerisms and their frightening appearance, it's not too surprising that in folklore they are often characterized as dark and bloodthirsty monsters.
