Ah yes, my favourite water starter, the samurai sea-lion...thing Samurott. I really like it's design and it's a shame it often gets overlooked when compared to other starters (Mainly because it got shafted with it's dreamworld ability and power creep in general). Well the pokeDex entries states that even a simple glare from this thing is enough to silence any foe. And now I believe it.

Ikr! It would make so much sense! But instead they went with Shell armor....okay that fits with its design, but it's so bad when you compare it to what the other Unova starters got. Reckless and Contrary are amazing abilities for Emboar and Serperior respectively. And Samurott had to settle with that?!

I like Samurott & Primarina together so much that I made OCs of both of them as a lovey dovey couple! But I gave my Samurott a cool battle mask to further his samurai motif and my Primarina a trident!
They're also leaders for my band of Water-type Pokemon called the Aqua Corps! Here's their latest pic:
