Description "Oh don't bother! I'll do on my own!"
Carefully he began to stang up. But then something strange happened!

"My back... It hurts..."

And then he felt it. A big pain and a great joy!
How could he have forgotten!

This is his first day of a new life.
This was his day of arise

jeszcze raz gratuluję spostrzegawczości i dziękuję

Pegaz to w ogóle cudna postać, chyba jeden z nielicznych porządnych w mitologii  www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDMz1A…

ogólnie rzecz biorąc, to wszyscy bogowie i boginki byli rozwiąźli (poza Herą)

O przepraszam, a kochani Persefona i Hades?

well, poses are usually the only thing that you show in your work
maybe that;s why they're the hardest?

you really think so?
to be honest from this pose the neck was the hardest - the rest is ok!
I always was thinking that being blessed by wings is very painful - to understand the joy they give!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Wolfbeauty In reply to fenifire [2007-04-22 20:28:51 +0000 UTC]

A horse's neck is really hard to do. I have a unicorn in my gallery and that took me some time to do. Yeah. Wings may be kewl, but it depends on the way you get them if they're painful.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fenifire In reply to Wolfbeauty [2007-04-25 17:43:15 +0000 UTC]

a neck is a thing that you have to draw when you want to show the wings
you can't have wings only that your parents have them - you have to deserve it, you have to show that you're the one who can have them
don't you think?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Wolfbeauty In reply to fenifire [2007-04-25 21:15:21 +0000 UTC]

a great thank you!
the pose is a bit difficult - but only a bit real great fun!
the composition is delicate? or the line?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

heartfelt-lovelorn In reply to fenifire [2007-04-14 23:34:56 +0000 UTC]

both. kinda strange to say but the piece has a delicate power, like its strong but in a delicate way.. not sure is that makes sense. thats due to both the composition and the lines I think. theres just a certain ethereal quality there I think.

Gorgeous detail on the wings and mane; I love your wing style! It's so soft and fluffy! *strokes* I still haven't fixed my wing style yet, even though most of my characters are angels... wow! thank you for such encouraging words!
horses were always my passion and the first horse I remember drawing was on the wall-paper above my ber whan I was 4 or something
my parents weren's as happy as me
and about wings - they are a real challenge - I could only advise you to look up all sorts of birds and study a bit their wings
it's a good exercise
and it takes a lot of time too
thank you so much for the word "fluffy" - I like it a lot
big for it!

Lutra-Gem In reply to fenifire [2007-04-14 19:55:59 +0000 UTC]

FLUFFY! fluff-fluff-fluff-fluff-fluff! Fluffy! It's such a wonderful word! My dad's a dictionary editor, so I get to hear lots of weird and wonderful words... but fluffy is just a regular WONDERFUL word. fluff-fluff-fluff-fluff-fluff-fluff-fluff-fluff....
Eh, unfortunately I can't really draw fluffy. But I do intend to get better! And I'll try to do some bird practice when I have time... after the exams. But thanks for the advice; I'll keep trying, even though most of my birds have been, well, turkeys. Pardon the pun. *is shot by pun-police*

And I can imagine your parents weren't pleased... My room got redecorated about a year and a half ago, and I'm considering painting the ceiling and stuff, but I worry that I wouldn't like the end result, and it would be hard to fix it. Ah well...

fenifire In reply to Lutra-Gem [2007-04-15 18:10:22 +0000 UTC]

fluffy! fluff~! fluff! fluff~!!!

the exams are now most important - but you can't learn all the time, don't you think?
take the example from me - I should be taking notes from subject called programming and algorythmics (or somethig like it ... hate it!) and I just can't stand it anymore!
and that's why I'm here
ehm... what is pun-police? never heard of it...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Lutra-Gem In reply to fenifire [2007-04-15 18:56:01 +0000 UTC]

A pun is a joke playing on words. The gun-police are the authorities who take down people using guns. The pun-police are another play on words, but they're the group that take down people making puns and awful jokes. A "turkey" is another (rather obscure I suppose) word for a "failure," and I was making the bird-turkey-failure connection, making a very bad joke. Therefore I got shot by the pun-police.

Don't worry. It's rather obscure, and you need a really good knowledge of the English language and oddities to understand or make puns. But my dad makes me suffer them all the time...

And I think that algorithms might be the word you're looking for. *cheats using online dictionary for spelling*

fenifire In reply to Lutra-Gem [2007-04-18 19:10:49 +0000 UTC]

algorithms - that's that! thanks heavens I've written it (got 7/9 - very proud! ) - in polish is something like it too! "algorytmika" (how to spell - don't ask me! Polish is supposed to be one of the most difficult languages on Earth )
about puns - I like them very much! my mum loves telling them too! I'll have to learn more English - and then I'll be able to understand them
cheers! and make more pans

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Lutra-Gem In reply to fenifire [2007-04-20 16:41:30 +0000 UTC]

And a lot of puns and stuff rely on you having some knowledge of English sayings and traditions I guess, so it takes a while for even English people to pick up on some jokes!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fenifire In reply to Lutra-Gem [2007-04-21 19:33:45 +0000 UTC]

you're right! there are so many words that sounds/writes the same!
and that's wonderful about language! and not all jokes are to be picked up
you know what?? now the only word that's coming up my mind is "pants" - you have the idea why??

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Lutra-Gem In reply to fenifire [2007-04-21 21:28:03 +0000 UTC]

Yup.

It's wonderful, especially when you meet Americans; they say everything different! Like pants = trousers, color = colour, center = centre; absolute nightmare, especially when you're terrified you'll sound stupid for checking exactly what they mean...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fenifire In reply to Lutra-Gem [2007-04-22 10:00:33 +0000 UTC]

when you're learning english as a new language you just don't see it - they try to teach you any sort of English!
and some books don't bother to mention that there is American and British - English is English
there are some lessons about it only in the higher levels but... so little!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Lutra-Gem In reply to fenifire [2007-04-22 15:00:55 +0000 UTC]

Yup. Two different kinds of English. You're probably taught British English. I'm just terrified that US spelling is going to become the normal spelling in the UK...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fenifire In reply to Lutra-Gem [2007-04-25 17:02:49 +0000 UTC]

I try to learn British English - but they teach me a mixture of everything! just teaching to say grammaticly correctly
you're kidding???!!!!! US normal spelling????? horrible! and impossible!!!!
their English is sometimes so dreadful!
what will it mean to Brutish? I know that the language lives but that's too much!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Lutra-Gem In reply to fenifire [2007-04-25 19:54:12 +0000 UTC]

Yes, it would be truly awful if the US spelling became normal.

I don't know what it would mean to the British; the youth is pretty dire anyway, I see far to many embarrassing examples of bad spelling on posters and displays around school, it's quite depressing.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fenifire In reply to Lutra-Gem [2007-04-26 17:56:56 +0000 UTC]

you know what? I think that Us spelling is more simple and maybe that's why it's getting more and more popular...
it has to be really annoying... when I see grammar mistakes I get horriefied! I know it's difficult but you have to know how to use your language!
