This was painted with acrylic, and I made it for my friend Kristen's birthday because she's into gory art. I tried using 'happy' colors and I made the babies smiling to make it more...innocent, I guess. But it just turned out to be creepier XD. I had to edit around the ice cream by getting rid of random paint spots, blotches, etc.
My friend, Jackie inspired me with this idea: I had my sketchbook out, and I had no idea what to draw, so I asked her and she said to draw a bowl of ice cream. For some reason, the scoops of ice cream suddenly reminded me of babies' heads, and the syrup reminded me of blood. So there ya go. xD

I submitted this in the Young Artists Contest 2010:

Before, I kinda edited around it so much that it altered the piece, so I changed it back to its original form of when I didn't edit around it as much
