Short Story
---------------------
It was a normal day in the park. The mother of Jim, Sara Hawkins, bring him to play with another kid's, but as usual, Jim refuse to leave her side.

- Come on honey, there are another kids of your age playing here. Go there and make some friend's okay?
- No! -Jim folded his arms.
- Alright - Sara kissed his forehead- I'm gonna talk a little bit with Ms. Princeton, ok? Call me if you need something.
- I need to leave this place.
- Not until you play a little -Sara went to talk with Ms. Princeton, the mother of Adam Jones, a boy from his class.
- Ugh...

Jim sit down in the floor, watching the other kids of ten years old, playing like everything is okay in their lives, of course, they all have a father who cares about them.

- Stop it!

Jim notice a group of kids pulling the hair of a girl while she was trying to stop them.

- What's the matter, outsider? Are you going to cry?
- Just leave me alone! - The girl with black hair push away the boy making him fall.
- Oh you are going to pay for that!!!

The kid take the necklace of the girl pulling of it and ripping of from her neck and throwing it away while other kid was holding her arms.

- No! -she screams.

From one moment and Jim no remembers how, he was on top of the boy hitting him. The other boy throw down the girl and tried to take away Jim from his friend.

- Leave her alone!!- Jim scream.
- Take off me!!!

Jim took the other kid off his back and to the other he pulled from his shirt and lifted up looking at him with an angry expression.

- If you touch her again... It's going to be worst!

He let go the two kids and turned to where the necklace of the girl was lying down to return it to her.

- Hey, are you okay?
- Yeah -she clean up her tears and take the hand of Jim to stand up- Thank you.
- No problem -he give her the necklace- Here, I think this is yours.
- Oh, thank you - she cleaned it and looked ashamed to Jim- Are you okay?
- I'm fine.
- You were really brave.
- It was nothing, I hate people like them.
- Yeah me too.

They look at each other for one second and then look away ashamed.

- I'm... My name is Melody -she offer her hand to him.
- I'm... Jim -he takes her hand and shake it softly.
- So... How old you are?
- I'm 13 and you?
- I'm 12.
- I've never have see you before, did you recently move here?
- Yeah, I just came here with my parents yesterday.
- Cool... Well, if you don't mind... Maybe we can hang around some time together.
- You mean it?!
- Well... Yeah... If you want. I can show you the neighborhood.
- That would be great! Thanks Jim!
- My Pleasure... Melody.

Ok I know is weird but I wanted to make something like this, I didn't find a good base to edit Jim but well, hope you like it x3
