No problem, and I would kust like to say how in sync the Yin and Yang based background is, I love seeing artwork like this.

Perfect. Luna and Celestia not only need each other as sisters, but Equestria will be better for it now that Luna can take care of the night and Celestia can focus all her energies on the day.

Nice yin-yang look for these two! It's not often you see this concept presented accurately in American media or culture. Union of opposites that cannot exist without the other... You literally cannot have day without night, or vice versa.

I like how you created a Yin and Yang concept with Princess Luna and Celestia, it works very well with these two!

>_> You're too good!
This is very beautiful art. This makes me feel something, but I don't know what exactly. Calm maybe? There has been few art that made me feel some sort of emotion.
Anyways... keep it up!!!

Of all the beauty in this piece I could comment on, I'm going to comment on how you did their manes, and their eyes. I absolutely love how you did these two. While the piece as a whole is beautiful, for me those two parts just draw me in and make me look at this piece for a long time, without getting bored. Rather, this piece makes me feel peaceful, as one with myself (ironic as this is a yin-yang piece, or, perhaps more along the lines of appropriate?... I'm grasping at straws now, lol). I love these two parts because of how much depth and detail they lend the piece. And for me, whenever I'm looking at a piece of art, I like to look at the eyes and try to assess how they make me feel... the way you've done these eyes puts me into a trance like state of peace and bliss, yet, I remain utterly aware (if that makes sense). I mean, if I were to look at the eyes critically, I'd have to say that they are completely out of proportion with the rest of the anatomy. But, was this art ever meant to be a representation of real life, or, is art meant to be a glimpse into our soul and imagination, a portal for our more pure emotions to be introduced into the world and perhaps become a reality?

Whoa, I got a little deep there... *ahem* excuse me, I'm just going to be quiet now and enjoy the piece, lol.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this much feedback about my work. I really appreciate it. I'm so glad that my art reached you in this way, it's really a large goal of mine to make people feel something while looking at my work and I'm so happy that it's a positive reaction.
When it comes to design aspects in art, my drawing teacher says that once you know the rule, that's when you can break it. I like to break it to see how it makes people feel. I do occasionally draw realism traditionally and I love to draw horses among many other animals, focusing on creating something from real life on paper. You're right when you say this wasn't meant to be something taken straight from the real world. I wanted it to be something a bit more than just that.

Well, if you take anything away from this little internet conversation, it should be this: You did an excellent job on this piece, it made at least one person feel something, and is completely deserved of the Daily Deviation it received. Thank you for creating it.
