personally the coloring here is better the colors are I think suit but I think this make it more comic book like and if that is where you are looking to go then you are bang on...I personally would have liked to see a grittier hand painted look I think it would have suited this piece better with more of these colors. btw I still think both versions are fantastic!!!

HONESTLY, I prefer the less vibrant version, but thats because I like realistic more than cartoon, but in a cartoon sense this color choice is better.

Wow man totally awesome and wicked! I love the colors on her. The other version is pretty cool too; though I think I like the more intense colors of this version better. Great Job!

It's very interesting to compare your 2 drawings. You have really matured your style. It's not exactly like you are more confident, but more like you assume your drawings more. She has more "generous" shapes, the colors are more expressive, more vivid. Even her glove is more impressive.
From my point of view, the old version was more "realistic" and this new one is showing more what you "dream" : a gorgeous flashy succubus.

I was going to comment on the color even before I read the description. The lighting is very natural and dramatic. It's almost as if the moon is a studio light. I would definitely continue with this style of coloring.
I also approve of the anatomy changes as well.

Well, lately I have had difficulties choosing the right colors and the lighting for my artwork, so I've been studying a bit. thank you very much for the comment.

That's interesting because I've actually been focusing on color and lighting more myself lately. Sometimes I shift back and forth between grayscale and color to make sure my tones make sense. I've watched your stuff for a while now, but this piece was really inspiring. Keep it up!

well, it's a bit hard to explain. I used for this illustration photoshop tools lighting to Overexposure color. selecting the parts that I want to make more visible or volume, is very useful if used properly.
