Description Oil on board, 24"widex 26"tall. i am trying to enjoy the movement of the brush and the flow of the paint, keeping the energy of my drawings and melding it with the fine detail of my painting. and the watermark isn't part of the original.

i your style! its so 1950's-esque with a touch of modernism. grest job. the only thing that kind of bugs me is the man's hand: it looks as if it and the wall paper are crowded... but never the less it is great

yeah, i thought his arm was too straight off the page, but there was no way around it and i didn't want to alter the wallpaper. some accidents you just let be.

i suppose, in a way. it was an experiment, lead to at least three other works directly.

This is really gorgeous.. I love the two styles you've mixed together and I especially love the little curls in the womans hair.

aww thanks. i draw lots of curly haired girls cos it's like my own hair. it's actually modeled after myself and my fiance, but i cut out the eyes to make them more anonymous, so they could stand in for anyone.

I like these "incomplete" paintings (I realize they are actually finished). I do like the immediacy of them. Some are more successful than others. This one is a little to rough around the edges.

Yeah, I love it, this is really good art. Well done! Well done! The only slight aberration that gets me is that womans hand may be slighly to strong, but this may be your intent as it does create (to my eye) an extra tiny bit of ambiguity as to who the hand belongs to ... and this ambiguity does fit with the rest of the piece. Excellent work!

I really don't know a ton about paintings. But my friend does and she said its good. Regardless the composition is great and I love the idea. Its so intimate, it invokes so many emotions. Crazy.

you have extremely wonderful work, a very mysterious and entrancing style
the amoun you'e hidden from the viewer makes for a wonderful tone
and put questions about the painting in my mind
i think you're doing an excellent job, keep it up

this has always been one of my favs, of all of your stuff i have seen.
the bronze tones of the piece really add a sort of quietness to it, at least for me. and i adore the center placement of the touching hands. i like the attention of the piece being there, as well as no whole face being visible.
it really just makes me kinda warm feeling to look at. so if that is the emotion you were going for, awesome.
