It's a nice shot - I especially like the way the clouds are lit up behind you there.

do you prefer it instead of 35mm ?

yeah but do you develop film yourself?

very rare now. but worked with blad in 1997. in bw. still awesome quality in film. just no cash to buy lens etc. and people that pay easily for images as digital droped prices

the camera itself feels wonderful and well built, it's a beauty. and middleformat negatives bear an incredible amount of detail (even more so lare format negatives). I also kinda like the othe viewfinder system.
but it's still incredibly more time consuming than working with a dslr. you have to use a tripod, there's no autofocus, no built in metering system, you don't know if things worked out well if you work analogue, films cost money.. so all in all I still love my dslr the most

agree in all. Digital version of hasselblad would be perfect for your architectural. but dslr 35mm go fine too.

yeah right, I I had the choice I'd go for the h3d2 with the 39mp digiback

Cool ID, I really like those which show the photographers at work. I suppose the Hasselblad interested you no? I mean it's pretty cool for shooting architecture with it cause it provides good angles and also sharp photos. the optik looks very cool.

it's great to work with it, the quality is just amazing.. (the angle stays the same though .. and a large format camera beats the quality easily, anyway working with it is just great )

yeah the angle stays the same with tripod but if you hold it I think it can give some interesting results . I suppose it is, it's cool to work with old cameras cause you learn even more about photography by using them.

haha, man you lucky sod! I'm still trying to learn all about RAW conversions and i'm trying my hardest to get sharper more interesting pictures up. I think i have a lot to learn about what settings i need for what. its going to take some time. New equipment doesn't mean better results!!! I hope

hope to hear from you soon

yeah, you have to learn everything about your equipment. this one was for a school assignment, and medium format was needed, so I'm learning it backward now using raw already and trying to get a grip on medium format, large format, developing and printing everything the traditional way in the darkroom
