Finally he gets his lazy ass moving....

Some background about Goran:
He is usually known as that nonchalant oversexed macho-dude and the not-so-well mannered, sometimes little-too-provocative brother of Stian (the white one, you find everywhere in my gallery). Many siderians who fight in Stian’s Fjordland Force (a big organized group of many siderians, who fight against invading humans), see Goran as rather annoying with his flirts and his lack of personal space. But when things get really serious, they realize that then can’t without him. Goran may appear lazy, careless and always with his mind on anything sex-related, but he has quite a soft heart. He was the first one in the Fjordland Force, who would go back and pick up the wounded siderians during- and after missions. Stian would have left them to die, but Goran risked his life to get them back. Finally, he could use his muscle power for something useful… Thereby, Goran was the initiative-taker of the Fjordland Force’s equivalent of Red Cross. He continued to save fallen siderians until he was too old to carry them anymore.

Story behind this drawing
The siderians of the Fjordland Force had gathered and were preparing for a scouting mission in a new area to investigate potential conflict areas between humans and siderians. They were unfamiliar with the terrain yet. However, or course they had to hunt for food and that is exactly what the two sideresses Rubi and Mineuh were doing. They were chasing a herd of reindeer, when humans suddenly appeared on snow-scooters, apparently herding that same herd. Overwhelmed by the sudden confrontation, the humans began to shoot at the siderians. Goran was nearby and realized how this went out of hand. He ran as fast as he could to the place of commotion to keep his mate Rubi and her friend Mineuh out of danger (that’s this drawing, and the music at (0.32). At full speed, he tried to catch up with the snowscooters and knock them over (0.56-1.11). He managed to distract the humans enough so that Rubi and Mineuh could escape to safety. However, in the chaos, Goran had become the target and they were after him. He ran towards a steep, tree-covered slope that was far too steep for snowscooters to follow. But before he could reach it, he got shot through his upperarm and tumbled down. When the humans left and the situation calmed down, Rubi found him unconscious, stuck in a tree. Eventually he came back to his senses and Mineuh called for help. Goran's brother Stian helped him out of the tree and other rescuers brought him back to the healer camp. No vital organs were hit but he had a broken humeras and quite a concussion. After a period of recovery he got back to his old funny, flirty self (and yes, he may have flirted with the healers too…who knew very well, where to go to ‘silence’ him…mahaha)
