Yep, in the old town parts and even some older townships, the shops are rustic like this, but the part about nastier traffic and scorching weather is very true as well!

Parts of it does! 'cept with nastier traffic, plus the girls on the bike would be drenched in sweat
Old shophouses like the ones in the picture still exist, though, if you're not in the middle of a big city. Overall it's a really nice country to visit. And we have good food everrrrywhere!Β

I love the colors, the details of the road where the paintings are getting slowly erased by the trafic, the way the little shops are arranged. It feels familiar somehow and I love that. Keep going, it's beautiful
