Description This is a photo of the bricks and the long-abandoned Terrence Building, part of the Rochester Psychiatric Center, located in Rochester, New York.

This image has not been manipulated in any way, and that is the actual color of the bricks glowing at sunset.

This photo was taken on July 22, 2005 with a Canon PowerShot S50.

Probably my fav photo of yours so far. everything is nice and sharp and color is great. I would of moved foreward some so the sign was out of the frame and tried to work around the tree either working it into the shot completely or avoiding it all together.

thanks!

the sign that you see is not a sign, it's actually the facade/overhang of the building. I'm trying to see if I can find a photo of the building. I had the other photo that was similar to this one, without the sign, but it really detracted from the photo, and made it seem boring. So this one was picked in favor of the other one.

I can post it, if you want me to, and you can compare and contrast the two differences.

I agree, the tree, now that I think about it, is kinda eh. I wish I could see more detail with it. I took that photo just right before we were asked to leave the property.

Do you own a copy of photoshop? if so unsharp mask will bring out the details in the tree. amount = 175ish, radius = 0.3 and threshold = 0. Of course if you don't have photoshop you probably have no idea what I just said

i have photoshop, but never really played around with it for photography and editing images, especially the filters (only for creating new images)

I've used it to make new digital creations and manipulate with scanners. Those photos will come eventually, I was working on a website, and getting everything documented, and realized I didn't have the right setup for photographing my artwork that is on display throughout my apartment.
