Actually the story was the main reason why i accepted to do the cover!Its really fascinating!!!The author wrote this when the Tim Burton movie was being developed(you can imagine the fame that this title got)so he got inspired even from the movie but mostly because of the original tale...-.- book worms...They are living dictionaries!!!XD

Her eyes are like... totally amazing! you could stare in them forever! well, not forever, she is kinda intimidating ^^ the nose could use some extra work, but everything else is absolutely amazing and wonderful! Really great job!

In detail and artistic points of view, I think it is very well detailed.
It gives a dark and secret feel to the viewer and the lighting is well done.
If I were to hire someone to make a book cover or ask to bring a character to life, I would definitely come back to you a second time.
In perspective, if you want more suggestions, I would say to make a 2nd version of this and make the background black. Have the lamp in her hand as the only light source. It would definitely give it a more "horror" feel to it.
