asked for a closeup of mah paintings~ so I obliged. A closeup of Kanti is not available because I realized I didn't save a high res version of it. ::stabs self for being stupid::So as you can see, messi messiness. And this is still not as large as I paint it originally. Brush strokes and scribblyness abound~ So they're not so much detail shots as mess shots. Which is what I think I'll call them from now on.

On Isham I did a lot. And u can kinda tell. Tis messy. And sometimes I use like...linear burn or something for the red noses to try an find the right color. But I'm much better about flattening that into the layer and then painting on top of it. I got really lazy with Isham because I worked on him for like 4 straight days. ;_;

Humm, the one of Isham was particularly huge...for no particular reason. I usually just start out with an 8.5x11inch page in PS with 300dpi, and use that as a starting point. Then I crop or enlarge the canvas as my sketch forms.

these are the kind of shots i love most. They have so much charatcter, it's like each stroke you see speeeaaks. :3
