Looks great. How does those shoulderthings work, and how flexible are they?

I always wondered how such shoulder armor would work when they meet at a 90 angle..

Shoulder pauldrons were never very flexible. They held onto the wearer's shoulders via a leather strap under the armpit. When one should raise their arm, the pauldron simply moves so that your shoulder is not in "the shoulder slot".
I hope that helps you understand.

Some shoulder armor have these overlapping pieces that would allow one to move arms upward to a degree, making the overlapping pieces flatten. I can understand that, but not Zelda's pauldron. I just can't deal with the whole 'cant move her arms upwards thing'
