Description Another day, another mob. I was inspired after seeing a nature documentary about eels online. Don't think I'll make these guys breedable, though, they die right after they lay eggs in real life so it'll be too difficult to implement. I imagine that these things move like the snakes in Mo'Creatures; either that, or the head moves in the given direction, the first body segment behind it flexing side-to-side with the rest of the body following like the Enderdragon's tail, creating an undulation as the mob swims.
I also felt like not making a separate item entry for this one. Lazy me is lazy today.

**********
Eel
Alignment: Neutral (light level 8 or higher); hostile (light level 7 or lower)
Health: 8 (4x )
Damage: 1 (easy), 2 (medium), 3 (hard)
Spawn: Any area of water with more than 3x2 source blocks, light level 7 or lower
Drops: 1-2 Sime Balls, 0-1 Raw Eel (if killed by player)
Experience: 3
The underwater equivalent of Spiders, Eels are a predatory group of serpentine fish that can be found swimming in any body of water big enough to fit them in, and like Small Fish, they come in several different color patterns (though not as many, to save on data values). They normally only attack Small Fish, but if you hit them, they briefly turn hostile like Spiders in the daytime and try to bite at you; they're automatically hostile at night, however. Eels cannot be fished normally, but will respond if small fish are used as bait; likewise, they cannot be bred.
Though Eel meat is as good as Raw Fish in terms of hunger restoration/saturation, Eel blood is actually toxic, meaning Raw Eel causes poisoning when eaten like Spider Eyes do. Luckily, cooking it removes the risk of poison, and Cooked Eel can also be made into a form of sushi called unagi (I'll get to sushi itself in a later recipe set).

COLOR VARIANTS/SPECIES (with percentage of spawning):
American Eel (Greenish-gray) - 50%
European Conger Eel (Blue-gray, white stripes on sides) - 20%
New Zealand Longfin Eel (Brown) - 20%
Harlequin Snake Eel (Banded black/white) - 10%

I think you should switch the textures for the Eel meat, because in my honest opinion the raw Eel meat looks like cooked Eel meat. Just a suggestion though.

But thanks anyway ^_^

No no, go on ahead, I'd like to see your take on the subject - you could still try morays and deep-sea gulper eels if you want to

Well morays were planned

also, in case you're wondering the new project will be Atlantis (after seeing those fish of yours I remembered that idea and now shall do it!)

Electric eels are more closely related to catfish than true eels, but I may end up doing one in the future, and among true eels, maybe a moray and/or a gulper
