I'm gotta give it to you, I'm glad to see another Cosplaying Juuzou and the fact you also will go as far as to sow you own body is really astonishing.
Mind given some tips when it comes to Skin-sewing and if you've Sown anywhere else on your body?

Just amazing, this is just astounding. Very brave, i look up to you for that. Now straight to the point, your work is amazing on this if you or someone else could answer my question that would be great. When doing this how should you clean the thread? along with what thread should you use? also how long should you keep the thread in until you should re do it?

It depends how deep you pierce into the skin, when sewing skin normally your ment to pierce three layers of skin so it's not enough to hurt.
Or at least that's what I personally now from the hand and arm.
For the Torso, neck and Lip I can't really say because Iv never tried it.
(but I am a Juuzou fan so will at some point.)

Which kind of needles do you use and which type of string, thread? I recently visited my local drugstore to buy some, but I didn't think there would be so many options. Also, I too created an account just to post this comment!

You can do it with normal needles. Like those you use for sewing. The thinner the easier.(In my opinion) ButΒ disinfect the needle.Β
But if you read the manga you should know that. Juuzou even explains it in there. (ch. #049 if I remember it right)

I'll always remember the time when I did that(putΒ realΒ stitchesΒ inΒ my hand)Β and it was really addictive but then my friend found out and was like "you're gonna get your hand amputated from doing that" and so I stopped doing it so yeah. I loved doing it though.

AH. I was thinking about doing a cosplay of Juuzou for an anime con coming up. I know its dangerous to stitch your throat or anything but I want to do the arms. How deep did you stitch and is it safe to do the fingers?

If you'reΒ disinfecting your needle its alright. (At least nothing ever happened when I'm doing it) Also look out the thread. I wouldn't do it on the throat tho. People will question that A LOT.

In theyer hand probably not anyone ive seen doing it in they're hand don't do it varry deep so it's mostly dead skin. So it doesent hurt at all unless you go too deep by accident.

I don't know for sure ofcourse, because im not the cosplayer, but I don't think so.
There are alot of bloodveins in the lips and it would hurt as hell if you'd stitch just under it, in the lips is just hell.
I even don't think if he actually stitched his throat, since that is deadly if done wrong

Hey, so seeing as I may be doing this as an art project would you please be able to answer some questions to do with this type of thing? 
1. How thick is the thread and needle you're using?
2. And due to safety, did you get infections from doing this? I don't think you would assuming you only did it lightly on your skin.

I know I'm not the person who is doing this cosplay, but I can answer one of youe questions anyways! I've done this before. You don't get an infection, I just used a regular old needle and thread! I'm not exactly sure about the measurements though... hope that helps!

When I stitch into my skin it is all red. Was it also red when you did it ? Maybe I stitched too deep, but when I don't do it deep it won't hold.
