Who’s hungry for some Takoyaki? 🐙

Takoyaki (たこ焼き) is a ball-shaped Japanese street food made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special molded pan. It is typically filled with minced or diced octopus (tako), tempura scraps (tenkasu), pickled ginger (beni shoga), and green onion (negi). The balls are poured with takoyaki sauce and mayonnaise, and then sprinkled with green laver (aonori) and shavings of dried bonito (katsuobushi).

I will be ending with Unaju (Eel rice) next up and hopping back into landscapes. Thank you for suggesting that I extend my food art series. I definitely had fun creating them!🥳 I will be creating more Japanese food art in between illustrations so this is not the end I hope by the end of the year I will have a collection.
