My first ever boar sculpt, this is a paid commission from an Escape room game company in my county called Kanyu Escape - a hunting trophy prop that will also be one of the puzzle mechanisms. Nope I won't tell you how to solve the puzzle this boar head will be in their upcoming game, but I will maybe show photos of it when mounted in the finished room.
This is the first time being commissioned to make a faux taxidermy ornament, and won't be my last hopefully as I really enjoyed making this one and have a new plan to start offering fake hunting trophies and maybe even attempt a fake animal-skin rug. Also this means I can now offer boar masks once I reopen for mask commissions again.
Speaking of which: before anyone points out that I said I'm closed for commissions for 1 or 2 years, yes I am but only due to no work-space anymore. This commission however...the company has their own big studio for prop-making and room-building, so I had plenty of space and access to numerous machines and tools for hours! I LOVED it! The experience working in a big studio has made me crave my own first home even more now. So when I update my next journal page, I'll need to add that I can still accept commissions that are either from customers local to the West Yorkshire area and or can provide me a large work space if possible...
Anyway, Boars are now available in my ever growing list of types of beast I make. ^_^

lol I still need to complete my secret dragon suit first, THEN move on to revamping my werewolves, however not sure if I should work on werewolves or my new horned-beast plans next. XD (besides since you like Kaiju creatures you might want a dragon monster instead when my new badboy's finished and filmed destroying shit).
I unfortunately can't unless the commissioner is local and or can provide me with a place to work in now, this commission was an exception due to the fact that I was actually working on site in one of their workshop studios. This commission was also done a lot quicker due to having access to everything at all times AND NO distractions from anyone or anything of any kind.

oh, Dzothege? Haha yeah I really liked the Zilla design but, on iys own, not a new godzilla. My sona is based off Heisei (1995) godzilla!

I only love zilla because he was a part of my childhood (I'm a 90's baby) and I collected ALL of the toys...except for the big giant one, that one was never within my parents price range at the time *sad music*.
Plus I loved the animated tv show that came after, again I was a dinosaur lover as a small kid so JP and Godzilla 1998 were my thing at the time, even more so than werewolves back then.

I just remember the US version of the very first movie 'Gojira' being a f***ing mess, and all of the Showa (dunno if I spelled that right) period dubs being either heavily cut or having new unnecessary scenes added. So I'm not so sure I can trust the dubs...
I loved Godzilla 1998, but now that I look at it compared to the original japanese movies, I can see why they hated it so much that they bought the rights to it just to officially renamed it 'Zilla' and deliberately animate it in comically crappy style then have their Godzilla utterly destroy it in Final Wars - the American director of 1998 was a complete asshole who was lazy and just jealous of the success of Jurassic Park.

Thanks, my local supplier has an excellent range of furs for great prices and my airbrushing just keeps on improving with the more practice I get with it.
