Maybe, her mom is a furless siamese rat. So I guess if she had fur to show it could of gone either way.

It's pretty simple if your not doing furless.
The mother is the rat who gives most the genetics, the father is only there to help make the baby. So if the dad has a respiratory issue, the pups will be less likely to get it, then if the mother had issues.
You just need a healthy friendly doe, and buck (to lower the chances of behavior or health issues)
And the day after birth start picking them up and loving them. Mom rat usually wont mind a break from the pups.
other than health and behavior I don't know much else about genetics.
I personally don't like breeding, because there are so many rats that need happy homes.
But the ratties there seem pretty vicious, so breeding may be a good idea if there are people who want one but are scared of being bit

Yeah I guess..
But you have also the chances of Megacolon, that at least partially follow colors and markings..
In my opinion, if you´re going to breed, you need to KNOW genetics, and actually understand it..
I don´t.. For me, it´s probably easier to learn Icelandic(that, if I remember correctly, is one of the hardest languages to learn)..
My knowledge limits itself to knowing some colors and markings..
And of course how to care for them..

Thats all you really need, you don't need to know about chromosomes and cell division to breed happy healthy rats

Hairless are so CUTE! Ah hahaha! I'm not a fan of non dumbo hairless. Their faces seem a bit to thin.
