I watched the anime, but I've heard it's completely faithful to the manga. So I'd recommend looking up some of your favorite scenes, at least, to see if you like the way colors and voices add to them. :3 The English dub is great for all the main cast, including Grimmer. (His final scene is really pretty heartbreaking.)

Is his...is his left hand missing fingers? With one broken one? O_o Eeeep. Too much clipper torture.

Bylo by fajn kdyby HBO pro Prahu použila pro změnu česky mluvící lidi, ale nevím jestli to pak bude ono.

nooo nevím..ono v manze mi někdy připadalo že si tam všichni až podezdřele rozumějí ať už jsou odkudkoliv

More than "nice" I would call it "disturbing". 

I saw the anime, and I suggest you to check the EDs at least, since they are really interesting.  ^^

....i saw opening and some scenes too -especially scenes when  they are talking in czech are funny XD ..i don´t understant my mother language in this anime -
(i´m usually lazy for watching animes but maybe i´ll watch this one someday )

Skvela prace, vypada to uzasne Ale to ja se furt opakuju dokola, vecne a vecne. Monster jsem videla zatim asi 4 dily, musim to dokoukavat, krucek po krucku
