Calling this a doodle is pretty reductive! It's beautiful!
First of all, the characters and their poses. They are telling a speechless story with their dynamic poses! I can see them moving (don't worry, I'm not mad >_>), almost chatting with eachother!
Their design makes them so interesting that you take your time to explore every tiny precious detail!
If I had a storybook with such pieces when I was a child, I would've freaked out *^*
The color pickings totally work together.
Your style is amazing, for it stands between a "realistic" feeling and stylization resulting in a pleasure for the eyes.

thanks...i really like to drawing illustration for Tolkien books...( maybe it's to much poetic....it's hard to keep this desing so I drew those characters different at every picture

Tolkien's universe is full of pictures, full of ideas, it's easy to imagine so many people'd like to make these things "real", "seeable"
