Anyhow, now I first recognized your own new avatar. That is very cool! The animation is good, but the coolest thing is the glowy background! Very good thing, surely better than before! At least to me, I guess there are people who liked your old one more. This here looks more modern, and you wouldn't be able to find many people, who are more modern than me ^^

This dragon on a black background is a sentimental thing. I can make him transparent if you like, but that's just not the same to me. Although I agree, he could use something to make him more interesting in the future.
My current matching avatars (which tie into what I wrote above) were made by =tin-can-man . He's got this unique, glossy look to his animations. I asked him to stay as true to my original design as possible: [link] (Um, please just ignore the arguement I'm having with myself there.)
It seemed right to have someone other than myself use my stock to make my avs and stuff. I'm a stocker at heart, and having someone else use my stock to make something for me to use just felt right. But I didn't want to ask anyone that's too close of a friend... I'm an evil taskmaster, and I feel like I'm being really demanding with him. But he's been totally professional about the whole thing.
