here is my entry for skeletonthehyena's contest to design the demonic for of her original character Skeleton, the hyena
this is kind of first stage in the demonification process, idk how she invisioned it, but tht way i designed it, the skeleton head can be an external spirit, companion or skeleton herself. or skele can sprout a demonic wing and fly. beyond that ill let you make your own thoughts etc.
this is my first time drawing a hyena, it might look a bit too wolfish and for that i appologize. XD

hehe, Thank you, and idk, there are some pretty good designs in the contest
idk, if photoshop is any different, but I do know that CS4 isn't THAT much different, except cs has a few more things, but as far as that goes Im happier using elements and Sai, my wallet is also alot happier about that lol

I used Sai paint tool for the lines, and i colored and added the background and effects with photoshop elements 6.
I got the brushes for the flame, and arcane circles somewere here on DA, but i cant remember where exactly. ^^

ok, i looked at your images of silverchaos, and i just need to know:
does the strip go all the way down his tail?
are his wings pure black?
and does he have any marks, etc on his hindquarters?

yes the red strip goes all the way down his tail
his wings have black webbing and the same color for his body is for the outside part
the only other markings are the spikes that go along his back
