This is a commission piece that I done and FINALLY gotten finished. This piece was a huge challenge for me and I loved it.My client really loves the game Ori in the Blind Forest and really love the characters, Bard and Gnar from League of Legends. He wanted me to put them in place in an Ori image. He gave me free range of the background. But since he loved the game so much. I kept it 98% the same, just added textures and what not.
This whole piece brought me out of my comfort zone. I'm not very good with backgrounds (even though the background isn't mine, just the textures and color corrections) but it was still a challenge nonetheless. I usually draw ladies, and so drawing out Bard and Gnar was very difficult for me, especially Gnar. I haven't been very good with drawing animal-like creatures. Also, Ive been teaching myself to paint on Photoshop, so that part was challenging in itself. All in all I had a lot of fun with this piece and I learned a lot. I absolutely love this piece!!!

Yeah it was my first. I usually paint everything using Paint Tool Sai and then used photoshop for effects. But For this piece I used 100% photoshop. It was a huge challenge lol Cx

Oh yes, photoshop is a HUGE program and I only scratched the surface of it so far. But, I do like using it. I kind of go back a forth with it though. Sometimes I just do all photoshop and other times I go back to Paint Tool Sai, it all depends on my mood and how lazy I am xDD. With Paint Tool I don't have to worry about blending too much because there is already one, with photoshop there isn't I have to go over the area several times with different tones and opacity (smudge tool doesnt look good to me). It is a challenge all on it's own lols.

Ooh yeah that makes sense. Once I finally start digital art I'm sure I'll always still do traditional as well. It's just what I've always known. How do you think photoshop stacks up against other art programs?

I still do traditional work as well, not as much as digital. But I love my watercolor painting Cx
Photoshop is a great program, but it is not meant for drawing, but for photo manipulating, so it lacks the drawing tools you get from other programs. Such as Paint Tool SAI and Clip Studio Paint (Manga Studio). Those are more geared toward overall painting/drawing so there are different kinds of pencils and brushes to choose from. So I feel that it is good to have knowledge of Photoshop and another program or two so you have both of best worlds, the drawing/painting and the effects. I am not at all saying that Photoshop can't be used for painting, because there are thousands upon thousands who do so. There is just other programs that are cheaper and have better brushes for painting than Photoshop. Photoshop, I'd say, is more for professional kinds of work. Not saying you have to be a Professional to USE it but it is so expensive and if you are not seeking something Professional then this program isn't really needed. There is a program called GIMP, it is free and is a similar to Photoshop, doesn't have all the things as Photoshop but it is a pretty good substitute that won't break the bank. I don't regret spending that much on Photoshop either by any means. I do pursue a profession in art so I feel I am getting my monies worth c:
I would recommend Paint Tool or Clip Studio. They are actually really similar to each other too and super cheap. Photoshop CS6 extended (what I have) is about $400 where as Paint Tool is about $50. There are two kinds of Clip Studio Paint, there is Pro and EX. Pro is pretty much a standard and EX is just has more functions. Pro is about $30, but I have seen it go on sale pretty often, I got mine for like $20. EX is about $89, I don't know if this one goes on sale often or at all. But yeah they are great programs. I am currently only using a free version of Paint Tool right now, but Ill get the full version soon Cx

I think I'll definitely pass on PS for now unless I can find a good sale. My brother says sometimes when you buy a tablet you can get SAI with it which sounds like agreat steal.
He does have a great concept doesn't he! I just love the amazing contrast of adorable critter that is also a rampaging death beast. And given the tidbits of his reveal trailer he might even have repressed PTSD. D:

I Just read it! It's definitely really neat! I really didn't know her character at all but it helped me learn about her and it's pretty cool. I really liked the art and the different designs. I also liked how they drew her in the places were it's completely dark.

I ended up buying the full version of Paint Tool xD I love it and I was tired of having to open WinRAR to access it haha! I use it all the time so worth it

This little cave painting scene is really interesting. Also really sad. 
According to the nerf notes it looks like they took 40 health knocking his total health down to 510.
Yeah same here! Too be honest I actually don't like most other Champs so I ignore most it too. XD but it was really cool to learn about Nami and the artwork was superb! I kinda wanna try her out now.

Yeah Winrar is a blessing and a curse at the same time haha. I feel you on that, my laptop is becoming a piece of junk. I started off using that for my art but it got to the point where it ran really slow and all my brush strokes were delayed. SO I ended up getting a low end pc, works so much better! and I can play league and a couple other games on it better than my laptop
Damn that is a lot of health to lose. Although I feel it was kind of needed in a way, Gnar is a powerful dude. I'm mostly interested in supports lmao! #SupportMain Cx

Hmm... I have to disagree with you on that. Gnar's health is already really low in game and I've been murdered in seconds so I feel this will make enemy players even more brazen in doing this. But then again I'm no vet either so maybe I'm missing something I dunno... it's really hard for me.
I definitely like dabbling in the support role at times. One some takes toplane so I can't use Gnar I like using Sona. I love her and her DJ skin is amazing.

I feel that it was necessary because he is having to rely more on items rather than being naturally tanky. Maybe 40hp was TOO much but I feel it was in a good direction. But also Gnar isn't really the best in this current "meta." I found that Nasus, Riven, Wukong, Xin, Yasuo (Mid or top) and Renekton are pretty good right now.
I loooove Sona, she was my very first support and I am a proud owner of all her skins... and Nami's of course xDDD
Have you tried Gnar support?? It is fun sometimes, people don't generally know how to deal with it that I have found.

Hmm... I still don't like the nerf but you have a good point. There is a lot about the game that I don't understand yet and perhaps the dev team know far more then I do.

I think a desktop just runs better than a laptop, altogether, for the most part. I am not super techie so I can't explain it haha
I have been playing this game since mid season 2 (when Fiora first came out) and even I don't understand everything. As for Riot, they don't really know what they are doing, so to speak. They think up an idea and put it into play without thinking of all the re precautions of those decisions, such as Zed. Super overpowered champ and then you have items like Ardent Censor, which is really op right now which makes champs like Janna and Lulu really good.
The term meta means : Metagaming is any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed rule set, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game. Another definition refers to the game universe outside of the game itself. So champions that fit THIS current meta as it is now are Sejie, Twitch, Janna, Lulu, Siracha (Raka), Cho'Gath, Malzahar, Zed, Yasuo, Sona, Tristana, Xayah, Vayne, Pantheon, Kayn, Wukong, Rammus, Katarina, Xin, Fiora, Kayle, Darius, Singed, and Kog'maw. This is base on SoloQ though. Basically champs that take advantage of the game, especially champs that take advantage of Ardent Censor. It is actually one of the best items in the game right now, so it is best to have a support who can use it, IE: Janna and Lulu are the best with it. THOUGH I don't follow the meta, pretty much, I play whatever I want that is fun Cx
You should def try out Gnar support. Tanky support build. I play all sorts of champs as support. My favorite off supports are Lissandra, Vel and Galio.

Yeah pretty much, taking advantage of op champs and items is pretty much what the meta is. And no support gnar is not meta, it is just fun. The support meta right now is Janna, Lulu, Rakan...... well all champs that can use Ardent Censor, Ardent is the meta right now lols

Yeah it is all pretty silly. A good support build for gnar would be Face of the Mountain, Locket of the Soliari, Knight's Vow, Frozen Heart, Merc Treads or Ninja Tabi's and either Sunfire Cape or Rainduins Omen (situational) Not really a silly build but yeah

Definitely do not take my word on which brand of laptop is better. Definitely do your research, I wouldn't want to be wrong and you get a terrible laptop lol I take almost 2-3months to do my research on electronics before I make a purchase.
I don't typically play him any differently, I just have to watch his mega form because that could decide a fight if it comes out too soon or too late. Other than that I play him just like any of the other support tanks Cx

Yeah his timing does take some practice.
When I said, "Like any other support tank," I mean tank the damage for your carry/peel for them ( you should really try and do this with all supports, just tanks are better at it, sometimes).
So I would build Relic shield -> Targon's -> Sightstone -> either ninja tabi's, merc treads or mobi boots, depends on their team -> Face of the Mountain -> Locket of the Solari -> Redemption -> Knights Vow -> the last item is situational, Sunfire, Randuin Omen or Frozen Heart

Peel is basically protecting your carry from the enemy team by using any means necessary, like using your cc to stop the enemy. Don't worry about the questions, I have no problem answering them to the best of my ability Cx

Yeah Walgreens is pretty great so far. I feel less stressed and feel like I'm welcomed, unlike my previous job. And me not being a people person has nothing to do with confidence and comfort. I just don't like people, don't like being around them and I dont really like talking to them, but I do it because I have to. I just prefer to do as little as possible to stay away. Even with this new job, I like it but don't like it. I much rather work for myself, I want my job to do with my art. Yes, I know everything is going to have to communicate with people, which I CAN do. I just want to do the bare minimum of it. If that makes sense.
