Also, there are only three ways in which Japanese is written, not "many". Hiragana, which is the "pronunciation guide", if you will, used mostly by children for helping people pronounce more unfamiliar/unused kanji, katakana, used for foreign loan words and foreign names, and kanji.

In Japan, each kanji has its set meaning. It has several pronunciations, yes, but the kanji don't mean different things in different regions. I've been studying Japanese for a while now and learning kanji is certainly a part of that. You have a little over a thousand taught in primary school and a little over a thousand taught in primary school. These kanji mean what they mean. End of story. I've met way too many people getting incorrect/made up words on their bodies because they don't actually research the Japanese language before they get them.
The first one that popped out at me is "justice". Justice is seigi. It's made of the kanji characters "correct" (sei) and "law" (gi). æŖįžŠÂ  The kanji you have means "public".

Guys guys,There are many types of Japaense writing.Kanji and Katakana are only two kinds. This Kanji is correct depending on the region and era.Quit freaking out. There are many,Many types of Kanji for each word/words,It`s from whichever era and region as I`ve mentioned above.

-'justice' actually means 'public' or 'meeting'
-'sun' either needs to get rid of that left-hand stick or it would mean the 'old days'
-'unity' should have an extra stroke making the left-hand stick like a cross
-'patience' is actually kanji for 'endure' or 'shinobi'

srry for the grammar nazi but I spent thousands of hours learning japanese and I don't want people to learn it wrongly

The symbol you used for justice is acualy the symbol for "heart" (kokoro) I believe.

Uh, the kanji you used for "wood" actually means "tree".

oh, and the upper part is cut off. good luck with that.

Actually, many of the meanings are mixed up or wrong..and even your romaji explanations don't count on every kanji, because 和 alone, f.e., is not read as 'heiwa' - only the word peace is translated with 'heiwa' which is the combination of the on-readings of åšŗ and 和.
I don't want to tell you all the details but you should get a proper teacher if possible xD
